Stop Digging Up Your Seeds: Trust the Process, Not the Doubt

You wouldn't plant a seed and then dig it up every few minutes to see if it has grown. So why do you keep questioning yourself, your hard work, and your decisions? Have patience. Stop overthinking and keep watering your seeds. Because doubt never grows dreams. Action does.

Let me explain.

You wouldn’t plant a seed and then dig it up every few minutes to see if it has grown. That’s not how growth works. You plant it, water it, give it sunlight, and trust that with time, it’ll sprout. So why do you keep questioning yourself, your hard work, and your decisions like they owe you instant results?

We’re living in a world that moves fast—too fast. We want instant gratification, quick wins, overnight success. And when we don’t get that, we panic. We overthink. We doubt. But here’s the truth: **doubt never grows dreams. Action does.**

Every time you second-guess yourself, you’re doing the mental equivalent of yanking a sprouting seed out of the soil. You’re interrupting the process. You’re breaking momentum. And worst of all, you’re letting fear dress up as logic.

Have patience.

Patience doesn’t mean sitting around hoping for magic. It means doing the work and giving it time to take root. It means trusting the quiet progress you can’t see yet. Keep watering your seeds—whether that’s your side hustle, your fitness journey, your creative project, or your healing process. Just because you don’t see instant results doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

Remember: the people who achieve great things aren’t the ones who had it all figured out from the start. They’re the ones who took action, stayed consistent, and didn’t let doubt kill the momentum.

So stop overthinking. Stop digging. Start trusting. Growth takes time—but it starts with your belief and continues with your effort.

Keep watering. The roots are working, even if you can’t see them yet.

Fail Often or Fail Completely

I've got a favourite quote from the "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" movie, which is: "We must never stop failing, because the minute we do, we've failed."
